"In every walk with nature one receives more than he seeks" John Muir
What a delightful way to start the day.
The 1,200 year old spiritual Pilgrimage, El Camino de Santiago, is said to lie directly under the Milky Way. I created this blog so that friends and family, or anyone who cares to, can track my progress as I train for and make my pilgrimage, walking more than 500 miles, through mountains and valleys and ancient medieval villages across northern Spain, "under the Milky Way"
From the look of it, a morning not to have been missed! The earth might have been yours alone to enjoy. What a wonderful, lovely gift.
ReplyDeleteThe earth was mine to enjoy! At least my little part of it. I think everyone else DID sleep in after the downpour. So I had the morning and the trails to myself. Glorious!!
ReplyDeleteI really like this series of photos in forest, they are so magical.
ReplyDeleteThe misty forest is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Bradley
ReplyDeleteThanks, it really was a magical morning!!
Rita
Hi Janie,
ReplyDeleteThank you. It makes for a beautiful start of my day to commune with nature in all her glory.
Rita
Wow, Rita. Those pictures are wonderful. No wonder you like to get out early.
ReplyDeleteHi Michaelle
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to get out early, and one of the benefits is, I usually am the only one there, so it feels like nature putting on her gloreous show, just for me. :)
Peace and Joy
Rita
Rita,
ReplyDeleteThese photos are just wonderful! Your surroundings - even on a misty morning - are very beautiful.
Hi Barb
ReplyDeleteI love walking in the mist in the early mornings, it makes my walks feel magical.
Rita
Scrumptious series of photos! Misty mornings are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Jain
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to my early morning walks. And each one is so different. The mist does add a little enchantment, which is hard to capture in a photo.
